About the Europalace Hotel
The Europalace Hotel, an important meeting point of art, history and innovation, is located in Monfalcone, in a quiet area not far from the city centre, a few hundred metres from the Fincantieri spa. The former Albergo Impiegati, a historic Jugendstil building, was established in the 1920s as accommodation for the single employees of the shipyards founded by the Cosulich family. Today, after a recent careful restoration under the supervision of the Fine Arts, the Europalace is an elegant hotel with 40 finely furnished rooms equipped with all comforts, a lounge bar, a scenic conference room and an office space, which make the hotel an ideal destination for business trips and for a pleasant holiday. The Europalace Hotel is 6 km from Trieste Ronchi dei Legionari Airport and an 8-minute drive from the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway. Grado and the Isola della Cona Nature Reserve are 22 km away. The building is located in the heart of Monfalcone, a town of about 28,000 inhabitants, located on the coast of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, in the northernmost point of the Mediterranean. The city stands out as an industrial centre within the Isontina Plain. Its name derives from one of the hills, Monte Falcone, as the town is located at the foot of it before it extends to the sea. The main monument of the city stands on this hill: the Rocca.
