The current parish church of Staranzano dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul is the result of the reconstruction (1921) of the older seventeenth-century church, which was severely damaged during the First World War, while the eighteenth-century bell tower is still intact.
Inside, the main altar houses an altarpiece by Umberto Noni from Trieste depicting Saints Peter and Paul together with the Blessed Virgin Mary with the church of Staranzano in the background, while on the sides there are two wooden statues of Saints Peter and Paul probably dating back to the seventeenth century. In the second lateral niche on the right there is a canvas depicting Saints Peter and Paul, dominated by the Madonna with Child and angels in the clouds, which was started by the painter Pollai and completed by a less well-known painter during the First World War. The altar of San Giuseppe is also valuable for its workmanship and for the very fine marbles that compose it.
